As Directors of the International House of Prayer of Greater Fort Wayne, Ben and Denise have served the city wide prayer movement through leadership in regional prayer roles as well as caring for several local congregations. They continue ministering through prayer, speaking, teaching, and counseling in the region.

They long to see men, women, boys and girls fascinated by the beauty of the Godhead and living in their identity in Christ whilst having a deep understanding of prayer, intimacy, and partnership, with Kingdom as our mission.

After serving 2 congregations in 22 years Ben and Denise, following the Lord’s leading,  began a city wide multi-church ministry of worship and prayer known as the International House of Prayer Greater Fort Wayne, praying for the Church of Fort Wayne and for Spiritual Transformation to come to the region.  IHOP Fort Wayne has hosted thousands of hours of intentional, focused and sustained worship and prayer since its beginning in 2004.

For over 20 years they served as "Servant Leaders" for the pastors/leaders prayer movement of greater Fort Wayne, participating and giving leadership to monthly prayer gatherings and yearly Prayer Summits (4 day prayer retreats) of men and women in Spiritual Leadership.

Ben and Denise also serve the Body of Christ in the Fort Wayne region speaking on what has become their life message- knowing the heart of the Father and living your true live as revealed through the man Jesus!

In all of this they have come to believe that only hearts living with an intimate ‘One Thing’ Gaze on the Beauty of the Godhead will break spiritual mediocrity in the Church of the west and bring her into her intended destiny as lovers and friends of the Bridegroom.

Ben and Denise will soon celebrate 37 years of marriage.  Upon the finalization of a nine year process of adoption they brought their youngest two girls home April of 2012 from Nicaragua.  They now have nine children, six boys and three girls (one son passed away in 1992). They also have three daughters by marriage and two amazing granddaughters. They have lived and ministered in Fort Wayne for 34 years.
